An uncommonly planted Southern European deciduous oak, with the downy grey-green foliage deeply dissected into narrow lobes, though highly variable throughout its range. Easy and hardy in the UK, it is also very drought tolerant. This collection derives from SW France. Makes a small to medium sized tree here.
