Quercus pubescens

An uncommonly planted Southern European deciduous oak, with the downy grey-green foliage deeply dissected into narrow lobes, though highly variable throughout its range. Easy and hardy in the UK, it is also very drought tolerant and an excellent choice for a Climate Change future. Makes a small to medium sized tree here.
