Rhododendron dalhousiae

Often epiphytic in the Himalaya, this is best suited to restricted pot culture for many of us away from mild areas. I have grown it wintered under cover for many years and the large 12cm long highly frangrant trumpet-shaped flowers in spring are a joy. The red-brown peeling bark is also impressive.

Pot size: 2L
