Salix capusii

Virtually unknown in cultivation, this very attractive willow from C. Asia was introduced by John Whitehead and makes a large shrub with very pretty grey-blue particularly narrow foliage. Similar in some ways to the very well known Salix purpurea 'Nancy Saunders', but a better, brighter blue. Could be kept much smaller of course with annual or biannual pruning. Very hardy and easy.
