Sanguisorba ‘Beetlewings’

A relatively new cultivar, forming bushy clumps of attractive pinnate foliage and upright slim stems topped by branching heads of slightly elongated thimble-like deep-red flowers July to August. Sun or semi-shade, not too dry. Excellent in naturalistic plantings as well as more traditional herbaceous borders.
