Sanguisorba officinalis ‘Red Thunder’

A good floriferous, tall and impressive form reaching about 2m and bearing masses of deep-red elongated bobble-flowers high on thin green stems in September. Makes large semi-translucent clumps, due to the thin tall stems. Sun or part shade. Not too dry a position.
