Schima argentea

Rarely available, this is a very hardy Schima and makes a fine upright evergreen large shrub in Hampshire for example, with simple evergreen leathery foliage, tapered at both ends and glaucous below. The golden centred white flowers are like small camellias and are produced in late summer and early autumn. Untouched by -18c in Shropshire!
