Senecio niveoaureus

A very high-altitude plant from the paramo of Ecuador and Colombia at up to 4600m, enjoying year-round cool conditions. Upstanding slim exceptionally silvery-grey foliage, with a flowering stem to 1m high in autumn topped by a conical head of brightest yellow daisy flowers, though the outstanding foliage is the real show. For sun and well drained not overly dry soil, best not too hot or too cold.
