Sorbus frutescens

A shrubby little Asian rowan that has made a multistemmed plant no more than 1m high with me over 15 years, though can get a little larger. Delicate, narrow, pinnate foliage turns first to chocolate then fiery red in October. Bunches of pure white fruit hang in clusters, often into December. Easy, very hardy and rather drought tolerant in any well drained soil.
