A tall and very mildew resistant Aster, making a bushy clump to 2m high and bearing a mass of comparatively large light-mauve daisies with contrasting yellow centres in autumn; usually starting late September and reaching a 'climax' (apologies) in late October. Tough and easy in sun or semi-shade.
