Symphytum cordatum

An unusual comfrey from E. Europe, this Carpathian endemic species has different and rather good, broad heart shaped foliage and clusters of primrose-yellow flowers in spring. A gently creeping, low-growing species, found in light woodland in nature. 30cm.
