Tasmannia (syn. Drimys) lanceolata

A slender, upright, medium sized, evergreen shrub with attractive copper tinted new growth and numerous small, creamy-white flowers from pink-red buds in March/April. The slim, relatively small dark green leaves contrast with the purple-red stems and are aromatic if crushed. Best with some shelter. From cold areas of SE Australia and Tasmania.
