Thamnocalamus spathiflorus

Another highly attactive Himalayan species, with soft-green leaves and a clump forming, non-running habit. The branches bow under the weight of foliage, creating a layered effect. New culms emerge with a pale bloom and age to an unusual pinkish-brown. Up to about 6m tall. Hardy.
