Tilia henryana ‘Arnold Select’

A fine selection from the USA of this highly desirable Chinese lime, growing comparatively strongly and upright, with a healthy, full, rounded crown, making a medium sized tree. Very distinct and exceptionally beautiful foliage emerges softly hairy and carmine tinged, expanding to glossy green with very conspicuous bristle like teeth. Autumn flowering with lots of sweetly scented flowers. The foliage on this clone has particularly prominent veins.
