Tilia henryana ‘Kerdalo’
A Pan Global Plants introduction, named here around 2010 and a great improvement on the usual form in the UK, growing comparatively strongly and upright to at least 10m, with a healthy, full, rounded crown. Very distinct and exceptionally beautiful foliage emerges softly hairy and palest grey-pink, expanding through orange-red to glossy green with very conspicuous bristle like teeth on the margin. The last linden to flower, in autumn, with clusters of comparatively large sweetly scented cream flowers giving welcome late pollen and nectar in September.
