A relatively new form, raised by Sean Hogan in Oregon, with very narrow leaves, very similar to the British cultivar 'Waterwheel'. Otherwise as the type, with sweetly scented, creamy, windmill shaped flowers borne in abundance in summer on a strong evergreen climber. New foliage is deep bronze. This species is slightly hardier than T. jasminoides, but both are at their best on a wall in sun or semi-shade. The genus is always recommended for relatively sunny positions, but I have seen one in deep shade on a north wall, covered in flowers.
