Trachycarpus wagnerianus

A hardy palm growable just about anywhere in the UK and in reality a form of T. fortunei with smaller leaves more rigidly and elegantly held than it's bigger cousin, therefore vastly superior in windy locations, and always looking fabulous. Huge branched heads of soft yellow flowers in May. Grows on a single hairy trunk, and responds well to rich soil, though very tolerant.
