Supreme vertical form, provided by branched heads of very narrow spires of pale lavender flowers from tiny pink buds in summer (late June to Sept). The 1.8m red-tinted stems are clothed in whorls of narrow leaves, which are a fine feature in themselves. An easy clump forming hardy North American perennial for sun or semi-shade.
