A well known spring flowering deciduous shrub of medium size, bearing deliciously sweetly scented flowers in tight clusters. In this extremely vigorous form the rounded flower heads have red buds and open pink, turning finally to white. Easy on any ordinary soil, in sun or semi-shade.
