Viburnum cylindricum NJM 09.127

A large, bold, evergreen shrub with comparatively large leaves, covered in a thin waxy layer, obvious when bent or rubbed. Conspicuous flattened heads of tubular white flowers with lilac stamens in July-September followed by black, egg shaped fruit. Best not too exposed. This collection was from the highest peak in Indo-China, Fan Si Pan mountain, N. Vietnam
