Viburnum oliganthum ‘Kyo Kanzashi’

A new intro to the West, this is a Japanese cultivar of a rare Chinese species. Making a medium to large evergreen shrub with attractive lustrous, leathery, rather oblong slim foliage with a red midrib, setting off the pendulous panicles of pale-pink flowers in May. Fruit are deep red maturing black. For sun or semi-shade. Highly attractive.
