x Mukgenia ‘Flame’

An intergeneric hybrid between Mukdenia rossii and a Bergenia, both members of the Saxifrage family, this makes a low growing deciduous plant for shady conditions. Vivid deep-pink flowers in spring over leathery foliage with jagged margins, which turns progressively redder from the edges as the season progresses, culminating in a potentially brilliant autumn display. 30cm tall in flower.
