Yucca filamentosa x Y. pallida

Anything that involves Yucca pallida is worth looking at and this is no exception, with splendid blue-grey freely offsetting rosettes of slim leaves, making clumps a metre or so across x 60cm high. Burgundy tinted flower stalks rise in early summer, topped by a large head of scented pendent white bells, to 2m. An exceptional and very hardy hybrid of two tough N American species, suited to well drained soil in full sun. This is the clone 'Silver Anniversary', but I have decided not to use that title as it is so appalling.
