A widley grown cultivar, selected for it's bright white bark which peels to show occasional palest orange-beige patches. Typically a fast growing medium sized tree for most soils in good light. Easy and hardy, this could actually be a hybrid with the excellent B. ermanii. Most spectacular as a group, for bark-effect, even if planted very closely. A multi-stem effect can easily be achieved by planting three in the same hole for example.
