Found on the side of Fan Si Pan mountain in N. Vietnam at 2050m. A good looking evergreen species of delicate stature, with softly hairy new shoots and elegant, slim foliage with a white glaucous underside borne on narrow twigs. Scented white flowers with slim tepals are seen in the leaf axils along the branches in early spring. For a sheltered spot.
