Maianthemum bifolium

False Lily of the Valley. An attractive woodland groundcover with short spikes of small white flowers in May/June above excellent, well-veined heart-shaped foliage; two leaves per stem. Height to 15cm. Light shade, not dry. This collection originates from Apuseni, Romania, though it is also an endangered British native.
