Rhododendron keysii ex Arunachal Pradesh

Looking unlike any other Rhododendron with its dense clusters of pendulous tubular flowers in June. This form can produce salmon-orange uniformly coloured flowers, though expect variation and salmon-pink and scarlet with yellow lobes are also common. Slim dark foliage on an upright plant 2 to 3m tall eventually. Easy in sun or partial shade, even fairly drought tolerant. Acid soil.
