Tilia concinna

A new species, only described in 2012, but found by Hers in China in 1919 and cultivated at Kew for 70 years. This is a medium sized tree to about 15m tall with a broad rounded crown and bold cordate foliage, green above and grey beneath. Bark is distinctly pale silver-grey and the scented white flowers are borne in summer. Close to both T. oliveri and T. miqueliana. Easy and hardy, like most Tilia.

Pot size: 5L
