The finest form for flowering in Northern Europe. Spectacular when in flower, with huge long heads of very big, intense crimson, waxy pea flowers borne in late summer from coral buds, all atop prickly herbaceous stems with impressive trifoliolate leaves. Grown as a perennial in the UK, this requires a warm summer postion and a winter mulch please. Approx 1m max.
