A hardy Chinese species with mildly serrated narrow green leaves with a yellowish mid-rib. The elongated flowers are a soft creamy-yellow and are seen from mid-summer to autumn on stems to 50cm. For a not too dry site. Stays put if a little drier, but spreads well if moist. Very hardy and easy.
