A slowly creeping rhizomatous fern of forest & stream margins in China, Taiwan and the Himalayas with a delicate, restrained look; the fronds being fairly slim, drawn out and attractively divided. Height 50-80 cm. For humusy soil in shade or semi-shade, not too dry.
